Michael Bahrs and Mathias Schumann analyze the relationship between school starting age and smoking behavior, as well as general health in adulthood in their study „Unlucky to Be Young? The Long-Term Effects of School Starting Age on Smoking Behaviour and Health”. The results show that children, who enter school at a later age are more likely not to smoke as an adult and are therefore healthier. The Research Paper is now available and ready to download here.
