Extreme weather conditions are having an increasing impact on public health. What impact is this already having on healthcare today? Based on almost 80 million analysed emergency admissions, we can show the impact of heat and cold waves. In addition, we would like to take a look at the effects of CO2 prices on health and cordially invite you to our 12th HCHE Research Resultslive event, this year on the topic of ‘Climate & Health: Opportunities and Challenges for Politics & Society’. After two short presentations, we will discuss the topic with the Minister for Health of Lower Saxony, Dr Andreas Philippi, and the Managing Director of Greenpeace Germany, Martin Kaiser.
