The course provides an introduction to Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) and their role in medical and health economic research. It covers the development, validation, selection, and interpretation of PRO measures, including the assessment of measurement properties and the application of COSMIN guidelines. Through practical exercises and student presentations, participants critically evaluate PRO instruments and explore their use in different research contexts.
