Depression: Internet-based Self-help Program
Moodgym
Moodgym is a free online training that should help to reduce depressive symptoms and to prevent depressions. It is based on methods of behavioral therapy. It offers exercises and tasks online, which recognizes unhelpful thought processes and replaces them by new ones that change actions in a positive way.
Prof. Hans-Helmut König, HCHE core member, is responsible for the health economic evaluation of the internet based behavior-therapy-oriented self-help program. This program is designed for people with mild and moderate depressive disorders in primary care. Within the subproject a cluster-randomized study will be conducted.
