HCHE Research Paper 09 with research results regarding P4P programs
22 December 2015, by Elena Granina
In the context of a research project, Ricarda Milstein und Professor Dr. Jonas Schreyögg examined 30 pay-for-performance programs from 14 OECD countries, providing the most extensive research on international pay-for-performance programs to date.
Since little is known about whether such programs can live up to expectations, the publication aims to provide an overview of existing P4P programs and to assemble information on their effects. Furthermore, it attempts to identify, whether evaluations of such programs allow preliminary conclusions to be drawn about the effects of P4P.
The results are published in the HCHE Research Paper 09: A review of pay-for-performance programs in the inpatient sector in OECD countries.
