Equal Opportunities
A package of measures was designed for the Research Training Group to promote gender equality. The individual measures can be summarised in four categories (workshops, mentoring, individual career planning, care support) and take place at different times and in coordination with the doctoral candidates' research development. These include, among others:
- Internal and external soft skills courses
- Participation of female doctoral students in external networking events
- Invitation of female health economists to exclusive meetings with the doctoral students to provide role models for career planning
- Travel for very young children/babies and an accompanying person, if required, to enable female PhD students to attend conferences and other external events
- Hiring additional student assistants for routine or administrative work, for example
