New research insights into quality in hospitals
28 March 2014, by Elena Granina
How can patients evaluate quality of a hospital? How can quality be measured and compared in medical context? How does resource management affect quality of the therapy? These questions were focused at the event “Quality in hospitals”, which Hamburg Center for Health Economics arranged on March 28 in Hamburg. During the event two health economics research studies were presented by HCHE-scientists. The research results were discussed with special guests Dr. Christoph Straub, Chairman of BARMER GEK, and Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider, CEO of the Asklepios Group management .
