Despite rising vaccination rates, more than 90 percent of people are concerned about the spread of new virus mutations and a possible 4th wave in the fall. This was the result of the latest survey conducted by the European COvid Survey (ECOS) between June 21 and July 6, 2021. Nevertheless, the majority rejects vaccination incentives in the form of gifts or vouchers to achieve herd immunity. Overall, however, willingness to vaccinate among adults in Germany increased to 73 percent.
