The DRG system under pressure: evidence from Germany and 10 OECD countries

The fee-per-case system is currently under scrutiny not only in Germany, but also internationally. A number of OECD countries have already initiated a reform of hospital reimbursement. The German Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, has also announced a reform in Germany. What can we learn from other countries in this regard, and what influence has the previous system had on the provision of services in Germany? We would like to provide you with answers at our HCHE Research Results live event on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at HCHE. In addition to the presentation of current research results, we expect an exciting discussion with our experts Dr. Carola Reimann, Chairwoman of the Board of AOK-Bundesverband, and Dr. Susanne Johna, 1st Chairwoman of the Marburger Bund.
