Welcome, our new Research Training Group!

The first ten doctoral students of our new DFG Research Training Group start at the HCHE this month. Supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG), ten doctoral students will start their dissertations in the field of “Managerial and economic dimensions of health care quality” at the Hamburg Center for Health Economics in October 2023. The young scientists research cause-effect relationships to enable quality control in healthcare. They will be supervised by a consortium of theorists and empirical and experimental researchers who work in the field of health economics and have interdisciplinary backgrounds in business administration, economics and medicine.
