The HCHE Annual Report 2024

What were the highlights in 2024? What events and lectures took place last year? Which new projects were acquired? If you would like to find out more about the activities and projects at the HCHE, take a look at our Annual Report 2024.

Hospital reform, climate change, skilled labor shortage – these are just some of the topics that shaped the healthcare system, politics and the public as well as research at the HCHE in 2024. Around 200 publications have been published in scientific journals. Our research training group Managerial and economic dimensions of health care quality, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) with over 6 million euros, has now been up and running for over a year. In the area of third-party funding, HCHE 2024 was awarded 17 new projects. The ongoing externally funded projects included around 45 projects – including the DFG Research Training Group, five EU projects, two other DFG projects and eight BMBF projects. Around a third of all ongoing projects were successfully completed last year.
