“We are heading towards one of the biggest deficits in the SHI system in history. The new German government should tackle reforms with high potential for relief at an early stage,” Prof. Dr. Jonas Schreyögg told the Deutsches Ärzteblatt in response to the publication of a first results paper on future plans in the healthcare system from the coalition negotiations of the possible new federal government.
