Numerous HCHE members participated in the 18th annual conference of the German Society for Health Economics (dggö), which took place this year from March 9-10 in Wuppertal on the topic of "Healthcare in Transition." The following doctoral candidates from our graduate school "Managerial and economic dimensions of health care quality" presented their research projects:

About the dggö
The German Health Economics Association e.V. (dggö) was founded in 2008 and aims to foster science, research, and scientific policy advice in the field of health economics. Its activities also include the organization of scientific events and research projects, as well as awarding prizes and distinctions. In particular, an annual scientific conference with distinguished guests takes place every spring; in 2026, these included Jeffrey Braithwaite (Macquarie University, Australia), Angela Bate, and Sonia Dalkin (Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK).
