Prof. Dr. Jonas Schreyögg and expert advisory boards present report for contingency plan
8 September 2017, by Andrea Bükow
The Advisory Council on the Assessment of Developments in the Health Care invited to discuss “The future of contingency plan in Germany” on 7th September in Berlin. More than 200 entrants participated. In the future, integrated regional coordination centres could provide telephone consultation and relegate patients directly to surgerys and integrated emergency centers (IEC) depending on severity and urgency. The IECs will be part of present hospitals but operate as independent economic associations.
These recommendations are are integrated into survey, which is committed to the Federal Ministry of Health in second quarter of 2018.
