On June 2, Professor Stacey Lee, from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, in Baltimore, Maryland began her 2-week visit to HCHE as a Fulbright Specialist. As part of the U.S. State Department and German government-sponsored program, Lee is exploring ways to increase research and teaching linkages between both institutions, particularly in the area of healthcare economics.
Professor Lee’s research interests examine how regulatory and economic constraints influence pharmaceutical manufacturer decisions regarding drug production, pricing, and marketing. In her research and professional interests, she also examines negotiation and mediation approaches to resolving conflict in corporate and healthcare settings.Professor Lee earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law. She joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School faculty in 2008. Before entering academia, Lee practiced law for over ten years.
We are happy to have her here and are looking forward to deepening our strategic partnership with the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
