Starting on October 20, 2025, we will be presenting a diverse program of lectures with international guests at the HCHE Research Seminar. The broad range of research covers topics from quality clusters in opioid prescribing, the economic impact of access to abortion, anti-bullying interventions with a focus on child development, pricing in hospital care in Central and Eastern Europe, to alternative models of cost sharing in healthcare and policy targeting insights from a health program in Brazil. Speakers include researchers such as Prof. Dr. Katarzyna Dubas-Jakóbczyk (Jagiellonian University Krakow), Prof. Dr. Tobias Klein (Tilburg School of Economics and Management), Prof. Dr. Ana Costa-Ramón (University of Zurich), Prof. Dr. Heiner Schumacher (University of Innsbruck), Dr. Gregor Pfeifer (University of Sydney), Dr. Benjamin Chibuye (University of Southern Denmark) and Dr. Stefan Sliwa Ruiz (Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine Hamburg).
HCHE research seminars provide a platform for HCHE members and other interested persons. We invite scientists to introduce their latest health economic research projects. These seminars take place on selected mondays from 4:00 to 5:15 pm.
