Startup Funding for an AI Midwife Copilot

HCHE doctoral candidate Sophia Cordes has received a “Calls for Transfer” grant of approximately €35,000 for her idea to develop an AI-powered copilot for midwives. The specialized AI co-pilot is designed to semantically analyze narrative observations, translate them into a legally sound progression logic, and support midwives in maintaining legally compliant documentation. The grant will be used to develop the prototype and advance preparations for the startup. Clinics and midwives interested in participating can contribute through professional exchange as well as the piloting and iterative development of the co-pilot.
