Is Physicians' behaviour partly driven by economic incentives? Can this be used to maximize quality of treatment?
1. If more outpatient surgeries are performed, hospitals can be relieved and overall costs can be reduced.
2. Do physicians offer too many additional services, or do patients really want them?
3. Better information flow between physicians can improve patient care. Are doctors willing to do this without extra pay?
