PhD Course - Funding opportunities and writing research proposals

This course will introduce into most common funding formats for writing research proposals. Furthermore, we will introduce into the basics on structure of proposals, budgeting and (for group formats) consortia composition. Moreover, we will also cover review and assessment procedures to enhance understanding of the decision-making behind research grants and to underline the importance of following application guidelines.

The course is designed for PhD students of the Research Training Group ‘Managerial and economic dimensions of health care quality’ and it will put special emphasis on the subdiscipline of health economics / health care management.
